From Resilience to Longevity: Celebrating 32 Years of Success at Dayton-Phoenix Group, Inc.

By Angie Albers of Dayton-Phoenix Group on Monday, 4/29/2024

Dayton-Phoenix Group, Inc., a former General Motors manufacturing facility, recently entered into its 32nd year. After one hundred manufacturing jobs were saved in the early 1990’s when Dayton-Phoenix acquired the business and continued the employment of its team members, DPG has gone on to increase its workforce, survive a direct hit from an F4 tornado in 2019, and move forward as an essential business during the Pandemic.

This past month, we celebrated seventy-one team members who have achieved twenty or more years of service. Combined, this equated to over 2000 years of service.

Next year, twelve of those team members, who were originally employed by GM and moved forward with DPG, will enter their fortieth year of service at our Dayton location. We are exceptionally proud of the longevity and commitment of our team members as we continue to remain steadfast as a manufacturing business in the city of Dayton.
